Rev. Eileen Douglas has been called in her lifetime to be a teacher, writer, spiritual leader, and singer. She grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, but her co-ministry with husband Rev. Richard Talley has taken them all over the country, serving congregations in Lawrence, KS, Santa Fe, NM, Omaha, NE, Indianapolis, IN, Hemet, CA, and Portland, OR.
Eileen is also a vocal soloist, guitarist and member of an acapella trio "Blissing." Eileen released a solo CD of spiritual jazz a few years ago, and continues to be healed by the music she shares.
Eileen holds a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Spanish and Music from UCLA (magna cum laude), a M.A. in Teaching from Grand Canyon University, and graduated from the Unity School of Religious Studies. She continues her post graduate studies in writing and metaphysics, with a possible doctorate in the future.
Eileen, whose business card identifies her as a Spiritual Midwife, Mentor, and Philologist (a lover of life and learning), teaches classes and
workshops on spiritual journaling, prayer and meditation, and various
other topics. She is now working on a book on sensory meditation (see
page on Sensory Meditation for the book's introduction), and writes
magazine articles and poems for publication. She is also available as a
guest speaker and to perform weddings, memorials, holy unions, and
other special ceremonies (see Special Ceremonies page).
Ordained in 1992 by Unity School of Religious Studies, Rev. Eileen welcomes anyone who desires spiritual mentoring*, guidance, direction, or pastoral care
to contact her at 360-607-1858, e-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit her on facebook at Eileen
Douglas or Pathfinders.
MENTORING is available for those who desire a compassionate, wise,
listening companion on their spiritual path. Sessions are set up via
phone, online or in person for a set time period. Rev. Eileen has
studied various methods of spiritual mentoring and offers this service
to those who desire a more intense experience on their journey toward
spiritual unfoldment. Spiritual mentoring is like having a traveling
companion or tutor as you proceed along your path. It is NOT
counseling. If you truly want to go deeper and broader in your
spiritual growth, then spiritual mentoring is the path for you. You may:
