The truth in this statement seems obvious, but it is nevertheless a powerful affirmation of its opposite: God did create a meaningful world. Even if we agree with the Course that we have created the world we see and it is an illusion, we still know that the real world of Spirit, of God, is meaningful. Otherwise, why would we be seeking to realize our Oneness?
I believe that Jesus brought different lessons for different people. The parables he told were meant for different audiences, so that he could communicate His truth to all. In the Course, he speaks to an even broader audience in order to assist us in realizing our Oneness.
For me, Jesus taught how to be in this world but not of it. What message did he bring to you? What is his message for us all? When we open ourselves to his message, we invite the awareness of our Oneness with the One and with each other. In this is eternal life, for life is consciousness. When we all come into our Oneness, then there is no need for this world, and we are in the endless flow of Divine Love.
